FFA233- ASSIGNMENT PHOTO IMPOSE

Our newest assignment is Photo Impose which is basically making pictures more interesting from the way it originally was. By using photoshop, our lecturer taught us how to do photo impose by using this boy. Look below:

From the original photo, we need to add a few more background photo or texture such as picture of trees or buildings. However for the the boy's, we were given two photo as texture. Look below:

And after adding both of the background, we could add our own colour and the type of lighting we wanted to add. For my final photo impose on the boy, I have created, look below:

This new reborn fabulous little guy. :)

We were also given another challenge which instead of using pictures from the internet, we need to use our own photo and capture the background picture our self. And therefore, I have decided to use this picture. Look below:

After removing the unused background, (the wall and the floor), just like the boy's picture, a few photo were added to make it more interesting. I picked two background photo for texture which is, look below:

And as the final result, I made 2 photo impose using different type of lighting (hard mix and soft light). Here we go:

FUNDAMENTAL OF 3D- MODELLING AND TEXTURING

                                                       

                                                           

                                                                                 


For our 3D class, we have to choose one object to model and I chose a well for the assignment.
Above is my well which I had created using Maya 2017 software. It is image of different perspective of the well.

FFA231-MECHANICS OF MOTION

This week , our class were assigned into three activities (again) and all of them consists a lot of imaginative skills. The activities are Being There,Minimal Word and Sound Scape with Place Atmosphere.

Being There is all about imagining yourself as an animal and how was it feel to live like them. I chose a slow slimy animal and it is legless😉. It have a shell of its own for protection. Yup, it is a Cornu Aspersum, most commonly known as snail (siput babi). When my turn arrived, I told them I was a small animals and most of my kind are dead , getting step on by humans. I told them I could sleep for 3 years long and my shell was made by my own faeces (Ew).

Basically I chose snail because are underrated animal who need more love instead of getting disgusted by them.

Our second activity,  Minimal word is an activity which creating a situation where you pick your pair and act as if it was your first time meeting but of course, without using sound as much as you can. Hanna (my partner) act ous as a rich snobbish lady who was randomly walking on a back alley alone while talking on her phone and she met a beggar (also a crazy woman) which was acted out by me, started to grab her legs and shaking her furiously, Hanna then proceed to pulled her leg away from me and took out a wad of cash and threw it on the floor and told me to find a hospital get treatment. The activity as the I took the mone and laughs because I was succesful on taking her money.

Lastly, our final activity was to create a situation that require us to make noise of a place of our own choice. This group activity consists ten people and we decided to made a robbery on a train engine. We separate our teammates into smaller group of train worker, police in disguise, robbers and citizen. Each of us are assign to a noise. Me myself was chosen to be a train worker whose job is to collect coals and put in into the burner using a shovel. Overall it all went well and all of us enjoyed all the activies.

FFA231 (MECHANICS OF MOTION)- Week 2- Giving Trust

Our second class included three activities which is Introduce your partner, Trusting yourself and Trusting your partner.

The first activity was  about making a pair and started to tell stories of yourself to  your partner in a limited time and vice versa, and finally repeat it back exactly how your partner inform you withouy no improvisation at all. My partner (Sakinah) and I told random information to each other for example, our zodiac, our  date of birth, our favorite animal and a few more.

For the second activity, using the same partner, we have to create a situation where we have to relive one of the information of our partner by acting. The place chosen was an arcade where Sakinah and I played a shooting game while Sakinah remembered that I had once told her that my childhood ambition was to own an arcade in the future and open it for orphans kids and poor children who could not afford to go. While we change our position into a situation where Sakinah dreamed of an childhood of her who likes to bully her (which is acted out by me), and I taunted her and she pulled a double hand gun and took revenge. The scene ended by me falling in the ground in slow-motion.

The third activity was to find another partner and getting blinfolded while being guided by your new partner, having to went through obstacles (some poles, legs and hands). And while blinfolded, we need to tell one stories and the rules is never to stop story telling before the time up. I decided to tell about my own personal story of an encounter with a ghost during my second year in secondary school.

Overall, it was fun and I get to know about my friends more. It was nice to spend time in this kind of activity. It helps to deepen the bonds with everyone.

Week 2 Monkey Tracing using Vector (adobe Illustration)

It's my first time using Adobe Illustration and I was kinda bad at it. There are some things are not complete like the lineart and and the shadows. Using vector takes time, effort and accurancy. Using Adobe Illustrator make me realize how small my knowledge in digital software. Tracing using vector started by tracing each part of the illustration one by one, thus it will took time and focus to make it look perfect or at least, similar to the original illustration.

MECHANICS OF MOTION-ROIL AND COIL AND IMPROMPTU ACTING

On our first class, the first exercise rhat we had to do is roil and coil. It is a game where you have to stand in a circle and act like we were standing on a thin rope and we have yo change our position based on our alphabetical name. And I had fun doing the roil and coil game because it helps to deepen the friendship that my friends and I have .The second exercise was impromptu acting where we have to partner up and act without any scripts and me and my partner create a scene where includes a cinderella, stepmother and a fairy. It was a bit of disaster because all of us cannot hold our laughter.
